Learning Process
What is it? A learning process is a series of meetings, called sessions, with a Grinberg Method practitioner. A session is a meeting of one hour, usually once a week, involving a combination of touch and verbal communication. In a learning process the practitioner structures the content of each session according to the aim the client wants to reach.
Possible aims in a learning process:
- Stopping a physical symptom that causes pain or discomfort
- Making clearer decisions in life
- Communicating more easily with others
- Learning to fully express excitement, anger, and other emotions
- Learning to stop continuous noise in the head
- Learning to adapt more quickly to changes in life
- Learning to let go of fixed conclusions from the past
How does it work? In a personal learning process, you will learn how you create the condition you would like to change, how it appears in your body and in your life, and how to stop it.
As the basis of the learning process, you will learn to pay more attention to your body, to allow new sensations and qualities and to have more freedom in your body, allowing space for new experiences in your life.
What is a Foot Analysis? The first session in a learning process is usually a foot analysis. It forms the basis of communication between practitioner and client, and is the time when the aim of the process is clearly defined. The feet offer a picture of the entire person - his body and his life. By touching and observing the feet, the practitioner is able to direct the client's attention to the issues he wishes to change or improve in his life.
Training in a Learning Process: The practitioner will give instructions for training between sessions, so that the topics and aims of the process can be better integrated into a person's body and his daily life.
Is it physical? Yes, the learning process happens in the body, through physical experience rather than through explanation.
Does it work for everyone? No, but in order to know if it's what you're looking for, you'll have to try it out.
With whom can I start a Learning Process? You can start a process with a qualified practitioner, who is a member of the German Association of the Grinberg Method.
Students of the Grinberg Method also offer learning processes before completing their third year diploma as part of their training.
Who maintains the standard of the qualified practitioners of the Grinberg Method? The German Association of the Grinberg Method supervises its members on a regular basis. All students of the Grinberg Method are supervised regularly throughout their studies.
How can I support my learning process? Any of the different group activities will enrich and contribute to the personal learning process.
In addition, client evenings are given regularly, free of charge, in which theoretical aspects of the Grinberg Method are discussed, allowing clients a deeper understanding of subjects connected to their individual learning processes.
How much does it cost? Prices vary according to practitioner and level of qualification.
