The founder – Avi Grinberg
Avi Grinberg began studying and practicing various body work techniques in the early 1970s. After working with many clients and encountering a large range of physical conditions, he determined that the best healer an individual could have is himself. He then changed his approach from that of a therapist, who helped people improve, to instead teaching individuals how to be responsible for their own health, wellbeing and development. He began to develop his own method – one that teaches clients to use their individual strengths to overcome their weaknesses, and to express more of themselves in their lives.
He started to teach this method in the mid-1980s. Today there are hundreds of practitioners who work with the method in Europe, Israel and the United States.
Avi Grinberg is the author of several books, including Holistic Reflexology (1989) and Foot Analysis (1993). His book, Fear, Pain and Some Other Friends (1994), presents the basic concepts of the Grinberg Method and offers practical ways of incorporating them into daily life. The Magician’s Call is his first book of fiction (1998).
Currently, Avi Grinberg trains the method’s teachers and trainers and develops further aspects of the Grinberg Method.
